100's squares to help you with your counting in 2's, 5's and 10's.

A few of you asked for the 100's squares to be put onto the blog again so here you are!! Try counting in 10's starting from different numbers and see if you can spot the pattern. Splat the numbers as you count in 2's and 5's and spot the patterns there too. Remember...practise practise practise!!!!!

As part of out practical maths initiative within school, we have been practising counting in 2's 5's and 10;s with Miss Coomber by counting beanbags into hoops in either 2's, 5's or 10's and then jumping in the hoops as we count. It was great fun even though it was a bit chilly outside!! It's a great way to practise at home too!! Here we are practising our skills...

  1. This looks like so much fun year 2. Did you find it was a helpful way to count in steps of 2's,5's and 10's?
